What's your preference...?

Pedicure or Manicure?

In my book, pedicures rock. They can last several months, while my manicures last several days at most. Less than a week after getting one, my nails, no matter how many top coats I put on, look like I've been scraping them across a sanding board.

True, manicures get a bang for their buck. Everyone sees them. And pedicures remain out of sight, unless you're wearing open-toed shoes or sandals.

What's your preference? Do you agree with me or not? Inquiring minds want to know!

I am currently going sans manicure right now because I am doing DIY, so definitely pedi gets my vote. I have to say, with the massage chair as an added bonus, I'm always more willing to pay for a pedicure than a manicure.

Of course I work with a lof of food products with my hands and cannot keep my nails long. I usually just file my nails down myself and just throw on a coat or two of clear polish.

When I'm doing a cake or painting with oils I have to take all polish off. When I'm going out, I usually go with a berry red color on my nails.

But no matter what I'm doing or what I'm wearing, I get a pedicure every 2 weeks no matter what.

I just had THE BEST mani/pedi the other day. They have fab massage chairs and the longest massages anywhere. I have to give it to pedicures. I've mostly stopped wearing nail polish on my fingernails because I realized that I was allergic to the polish. I always had peeling, soft nails. Since I stopped wearing polish on my fingernails, they started growing in strong. The manicurist said she'd never seen such strong nails. I do a lot with my hands too. It's nice not to worry about chipping polish!
