I'm remaining quiet until next weekend, maybe longer. There's too much to do, and too little time, though I suspect I'm probably not as busy as the soldiers in this photo. They are my role models at present. Every time life gets a little tough, all I have to do is think of them.
Meanwhile, in celebration of the holidays, here's a link to John Lennon's And So This is Christmas. If I don't get back to y'all before then, have a merry, happy time.

Merry Christmas Ms. Place, and all your readers!
I really like the image of the soldiers holding candles -- swords into plowshares indeed :)
Yes, that's a great image. I am also quite busy. My poor little blog needs some love, but there's no time for that right now. Merry Christmas, Ms. Place. I wish you and everyone in your life the very best.
Happy Holidays from the wilds of Northern Virginia. Here's hoping Santa brings you wonderful goodies to play with for the new year.
