Sienna, you silly girl. Did no one tell you about a new invention? It's called a comb. My advice? Lose the braid, dahling. You look like Hitler's girlfriend, Eva Braun. That's not a good association. Take my word for it.

Oh, Uli! It's not THAT bad. Is it?

Spot On

During a night of fashion disappointments, our wonderful little actress from Ugly Betty stood out. America Ferraro looked adorable and feminine and age appropriate. She wore this gown; it didn't wear her.

And look at this photo of the entire cast. Even my fave diva, Vanessa, whose fashion choices were questionable (see post below), looks great in this photo. I was utterly thrilled that Ugly Betty was recognized. I so adore this show.

Oh, dear

Here's how a beautiful woman can hide and disguise everything that's lovely and wonderful about her:

Stick your finger in an electrical socket so your hair will frizz.
Wear the wrong color for your eyes, skin, and hair.
Wear an animal on your person (or the facsimile of one.)
Make yourself look ten pounds fatter by choosing the wrong dress and wearing an animal on your person (or the facsimile of one.)
Wear makeup that makes you look like the same age as your grandmother.
Forget to consult your good common sense.

Oh, Vanessa. Sweet Dahling. I've worshiped you from afar. But you've won my vote for absolutely worst dressed at this year's Golden Globes.

Oh, dear

Yes, Eric 3000, it is awful to see a beautiful woman throw her natural beauty away in order to create this ... this ... "Scarlet O'Hara's On Drugs" ensemble.

Cameron's breakup with Justin must have addled her Sartorian sensibilies. Even though this get up grates on one's nerves, there were some attendees, like Vanessa Williams, who looked much worse!

Oh, dear

Not in a million years would I wear this, dahlings. Did Rinko Kikuhi wad kleenex balls and sew them onto the gown she wore at the Golden Globes Awards?

Why anyone would hide their cute perky figure under an avalanche of puff balls is beyond me.
